Biography:

Scott is an advisor, negotiator, and litigator representing clients on a variety of business and employment law matters. From formation to the sale of the business, Scott works with clients on business planning, contractual matters, employment law compliance, and business disputes.

He regularly drafts and reviews contracts, represents clients in the purchase and sale of companies, advises on a variety of employment law matters, and represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings. Scott also represents investors and financial advisors in FINRA arbitration and compliance matters.

Scott has an LL.M. in Business Law from the University of Alabama School of Law and is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell. Scott’s mission is to understand the client’s financial objectives, develop a realistic legal strategy that is best suited to the client’s business needs, and advise the client during the execution of that strategy to obtain the desired goals.

Scott is a board member of the Florida Oceanographic Society and the Economic Council of Martin County. Scott enjoys hikes at our local beaches and in the mountains of North Carolina. When off the trail, he is playing golf or shooting sporting clays.
