Biography:

Linda L. Weiksnar is a Trial Lawyer practicing in the area of family law. She honed her litigation skills at a nationally known law firm, where she earned several million-dollar verdicts and settlements in litigation matters. Linda graduated cum laude from Duke University, where she earned her A.B. in Political Science.

Linda also studied foreign languages, concentrating on Spanish. She then obtained a joint degree from Georgetown University Law Center: a Juris Doctor and Master of Science in Foreign Service. At Georgetown, Linda served twice as President of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Linda first practiced in Washington, D.C.; her first hearing was before Judge Gerhart Geselle, who presided over the Oliver North trial. Linda has lived in Martin County since 1994, raising two children who are both Florida Gators. She is a long time Rotarian (a three time Paul Harris Fellow!), and serves on several volunteer boards in the area. She appeared on-stage at the Lyric Theater in 2004 as a back-up singer for David Sanborn. Linda ran with the Olympic Torch in the 1996 / 2000 Olympic Torch Relay. She is Forever Duke Blue and waits all year for the NCAA Basketball tournaments. Linda was the Soroptimist International Woman of Distinction in the Business / Professional category in 2020.
