Junior League of Martin County Hosts Event for Hibiscus Children’s Center

The Junior League of Martin County hosted a Valentine’s Day event on Saturday, February 14, 2015, for the children sheltered at Hibiscus Children’s Center. Hibiscus provides safe shelter and support to children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, abandonment, or neglect.

During the event, volunteers participated in Conscious Discipline training with the children, escorted them through various fun craft activities, had lunch catered by OooLaLa Catering, and ended the day with soccer and music events.
