James Menendez is a Certified Legal Manager (CLM) at Crary Buchanan, Attorneys at Law. At the firm, he uses his legal expertise and understanding of the Florida legal system to help clients pursue the best solutions for their cases. Certification is sponsored by the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), an organization committed to supporting legal professionals through law firm management.
The mission of the ALA is to “provide solutions to the most strategic and operational challenges our members and customers face today, while [preparing] them for the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow.” As a CLM at Crary Buchanan, James understands the importance of constantly pursuing a deeper understanding of the law. As a CLM, he has the opportunity to continually help the firm better help clients throughout the Treasure Coast region.
In a recent video with the ALA, he said, “I’ve always enjoyed getting up and going to work every day. It’s amazing, but I just love being a legal administrator. The CLM program has given me a way to give back to the legal field.”
The CLM has many benefits, including recognition from the Florida bar and legal peers. “The recognition that you get for being a CLM is very important,” said James, “It gives you a level of recognition…with the lawyers. Being a CLM has also helped me in my relationship with the Florida Bar.”
